Arthur Jones – Scorpio ( America Records – 30 AM 6112 - France - 1971)

80.00

Recorded at Studio Saravah in Paris during August 1969, "Scorpio" by free jazz saxophonist Arthur Jones., was released two years by BYG Records as part of their Actuel series. The same year, the french label America founded and owned by Philippe Thomas decided to release it with a different sleeve.
On this session Jones is joined by two French musicians, bassist Beb Guérin and drummer Claude Delcloo (also founder of Full Moon Ensemble). The album is categorized as free jazz but you could easily hear the Hard Bop and Blues influences of Arthur Jones.

Record looks NM plays perfectly (actual soundclip) / Sleeve is really close to NM.
