Edmony Krater – Pan Ga A To (Carrere – 10012 - Guadeloupe - 1992)

I recently received a call from my friend Edmony Krater, the famous Guadeloupean musician whose “Tijan Pou Vélo” was reissued in 2016 on my label (his album released in 1988 which became a Gwo Ka Jazz Fusion classic) and his Natibel album with Group Zepiss, released in 1984. (BeauMonde Records – BM2309 – 2022).

Edmony announced me that he had found a few stock copies of his 7" "Pan Ga A To" released in 1991. This 45 RPM produced by Sylvain Pauchard (former member of the Progressive Rock groups Martin Circus / Expérience / ) is in fact an electro funk version of his iconic track “Tijan”. The remix version on side B is a sort of fusion between Prince-inspired funk in the arrangements and Gwo Ka singing which is Edmony's trademark. We are very far from Zouk but definitely a Gwo Ka Electro Funk Jazzy R’n’B fusion.

Record is NM (plays EX, soundclip on Instagram) / Sleeve is EX to VG+ (a few copies has light storage wear, 1st come 1st served !!!)
