First album by modern togolese music pioneer, Germaine Adjovi Amékou aka Yta Jourias. This album released on the great label Sonafric includes some beautiful hybrid tracks between jazz-funk and highlife, rumba & boléro "Metsa Volomiye" and "Pesse Mi Buntare" are both great exemples of the quality of this album. "Allah" is a deep religious song with killer afro spiritual jazz background. "Pouvoir Noir" is a nice pop song sung in french. The particularity of this album is that Yta sings in several african languages like Bambara, Haoussa, Ewe, Amina and also Russian & French !
Still pretty much overlooked album in my humble opinion !
Record looks and plays NM mostly flawless / Close to perfect sleeve signed by Yta Jourias on the back sleeve (Check the actual audio on instagram).
