Vincent Gémignani - Modern Pop Percussion (Concert Hall - 1972)

150.00 / Sold Out

Now cult avant-garde / experimental jazz album by Vincent Gemignani and his Ensemble de Percussion de Paris. Vincent Gemignani who created the Bronté an avant garde instruments) used a wide range of instruments and experimented a great variety of sounds : clubby samba jazz with female chorus on “Liberalia”, weird groove with breaks on “Condylura”, pop and scat on “Titania”, drumbreaks and scary sounds on “Promothée”, But the highlights are definitely the dark ambient jazz “Insidieusement les Elfes”, and the beautiful “Ophis le serpentaire" which became an iconic french rare grooves track.
