Steve Potts left Steve Lacy for a time to compose this imaginary soundtrack for a real movie ! Following the proposition from the film’s director Joaquín Lledó. With guest musicians of quality and from varied horizons (Ambrose Jackson, Jean-Jacques Avenel, Frank Abel, Elie Ferré, Christian Escoudé…), the saxophonist recorded this superb versatile non original soundtrack ranging from modal jazz to free rock and from to spiritual jazz, to java wah-wah with disconcerting elegance. Steve Potts and his bunch of friends deliver a true unique "mixploitation" made in Paris which would be recognized way beyond the boundaries of the parisian suburbs.
