Peter Beasson – Holiday For Voices (Sound Ways – SW. 1001 - France - 1969)

1.00 / Sold Out

Peter Beasson was the pseudonym for composer/arranger Jacques Hendrix who produced and released many french jazz vocal albums, he started in the famous scat jazz band Les Doubles Six (who also features Eddy Louiss, Bernard Lubat and Jef Gilson). This privately released "Holiday For Voices", remains his most elusive and brilliant session featuring his vocal muse, the amazing mademoiselle Françoise Walle. The 12 tracks represent the finest of french wordless/scat music mixed with pop, bossa nova, jazz. The whole album is superb with highlights on "Choro Belingo", "Walle-Street". A real holy grail in the Library world to rank between KPM Voices In Harmony and I Cantori Moderni di Alessandroni.

Record is NM (looks pretty much unplayed) / Textured sleeve is strong EX very close NM.
