Nino Ferrer was such a great artist, this album represents the best of his work, much better than his 60's period in my humble opinion. Recorded with the help of US afro american band Ice, it's the perfect mix of french pop with grandiose psychedelic soul music. The classic "South" the only track without the band Ice features some of the best french musicians of the period (Chris Padovan, Claude Engel, Andr" Sitbon, Marc Chantereau). Essential if you are into french grooves.
