Jean-Charles Capon - Philippe Maté - "Butch" Morris - Serge Rahoerson (PALM 26 - France - 1977)

Superb Free Jazz sessions produced by Jef Gilson released on his own label with some of musicians who layed on his famous Malagasy from 1970 : Jean-Charles Capon and Serge Rahoerson. Brought in momentarily from Europamerica, Gilson’s new big band, in which JC Capon also played, the french saxophonist Philippe Maté, and the American Butch Morris (soon to be a key member of David Murray’s band) were invited to record their parts later and Gilson mixed it all as if it had been one single session. Check the free / spirit "Spanish Cake Walk" and the deep long "Mode De Fa - Salegy Drums Solo"

Record is strong VG++ (some light surface, one very light hairline that doesn't affect playing) / Sleeve is Excellent condition.
